The Company has experience of organising and hosting special rugby tournaments for clubs and schools from overseas. Our first school tour was held in 2017 for St. David’s College Rugby Team from Wales, UK.

Travel Eurasia (Kemsley Tours) arranged all aspects of the five-day tour including airport pick up and drop off, transportation in and around Tbilisi and to both games which were held in Tbilisi and Martkopi, we also arranged sightseeing in Tbilisi and Mskheta as well as visits to Gori and Rustavi to watch local and international adult games. Travel Eurasia were responsible for finding appropriate teams to play against, referees, medical personnel and venues and not forgetting – a lot of Georgian food!.

In October, 2019, the company hosted  Ampthill U17 Rugby Team .
A Tens Tournament was organised over the course of 2 days and included two Georgian teams from Tbilisi. Each day the teams each played two games. The games were held at one of Tbilisi’s newly-built, modern rugby stadiums.
Travel Eurasia arranged sightseeing in Old Tbilisi including an exciting zip wire through the historic Tbilisi Botanical Gardens and a visit to the old capital of Georgia, Mskheta,
The team tasted Georgian food and enjoyed Georgian dancing and singing!
Many of the team were lucky enough to bring their parents or relatives with them and in addition to watching their sons play rugby some were fortunate to be able to try the invigorating Georgian sulphur baths in the Abanotubani part of the old city.
