Travel Eurasia collaborates with the Georgia Rugby 5 Federation , which has been holding annual Beach and Snow Rugby tournaments since 2005

Beach Rugby 5s, 2020 was scheduled to be held in Batumi in July 2020 however, as a result of the coronavirus outbreak it has been cancelled. We very much anticipate a competition in Summer 2021 so watch this space for news!

Batumi is Georgia’s third largest city and is located on the Black Sea coast. Batumi is 150km from Kutaisi Airport and the journey by car or bus takes approximately 2.5 hours
The journey from Tbilisi to Batumi is 400 km and the journey takes approximately 5 hours by road or train. Georgia has an excellent train service with air-conditioned, double-decker Swiss trains which allow you to enjoy the Georgian countryside in comfort.
