KAZBEGI

Mount Kazbeg, the second highest mountain in Georgia at 5037 metres, towers above the small town of Stepantsminda in the region of Kazbegi. Located approximately two and a half hours north of Tbilisi by car, this is a fabulous area for hiking, trekking and camping, and if you are even more adventurous (and fit) then you may even decide to head for the summit of Mount Kazbeg.
Stepantsminda has accommodation to suit all pockets from five-star hotels to hostels or home-stays or if you want to you can camp. Travel Eurasia can help you to find the right option. Email us at travelaroundeurasia@gmail.com or contact us on Facebook and we will get back to you with suggestions!
